Saint Lucie Regional Herpetological Society |
Who we areThe St. Lucie Regional Herpetological Society is an organization comprised of a group of knowledgeable reptile enthusiasts who enjoy all species of reptiles. Our membership ranges in age from 4 to 84 and we regularly have meetings with guest speakers who share their knowledge of a particular species. Our Mission is to dispel myths and educate the general public on the benefits these wonderful creatures provide to their environments. We would be thrilled to come to your school or facility and speak about them. We are always happy to help educate people about the various reptiles that we keep. Our members have a wide range of animals from monitor lizards, geckoes & bearded dragons to turtles and many different species of snakes, including large pythons & boas. These animals are our pets, they are not borrowed from a zoo or pet store. We will bring the animals for children and adults to see and touch first hand leaving them with an experience they will always remember. We attend local events such as Friday Fest and West Fest where all are welcome to view and speak about the animals on display. |
